As my annual physical approaches, I’ve been taking good care of myself by eating mostly healthy food. And after weeks of enjoying plenty of fruits and vegetables, I think it’s perfectly fine to indulge in an early Easter treat.

I made a grown-up version of Rice Krispies treats by adding nuts, seeds, oatmeal, and dried fruits. The bunny peeps and colorful sprinkles are definitely appropriate for adults, too. We need fun food as much as the kids! 🤣
And to be fully transparent, I did enjoy more than one bar and didn’t feel guilty at all! I did share the rest with some friends, though, because fun food gets even more fun when shared with friends.
Easter can’t arrive soon enough for me. There will be even more treats, and best of all, there will be a week-long school break—yippee!
