Love those small pebbles, Angie! Wish you a happy weekend 🙂

  3. Happy Fiesta Friday! The features look great, Angie? I don’t celebrate Memorial Day Weekend since I live in Japan, but I’ll be baking tomorrow (of course) and on Sunday I’ll be taking part in a discussion about growing up bilingual in Japan as a panelist. Honestly, I’m mainly there for the BBQ that follows the discussion lol.

    • Angie says:

Lol! You’re too funny! But I probably would do the same thing. I’d be like…what?! You want me to be a panelist in some serious discussion? Will there be food involved? Yes? Ok, I’m in! ?

Happy Fiesta Friday, Angie and friends! Is school out for you soon? My kids will be done this afternoon! Your beach shots make me want to stroll out to Lake Michigan, but it’s not beach weather yet. We’ll probably just stick around home too. Hopefully my husband can finish grading and fire up the grill at some point!

    • Angie says:

Not until mid June. I’m counting the days! It’s been dreary the last few days here, too. I hope it’ll be dry this weekend since we’re also planning to fire up the grill. It’s about time, right?! ?

  5. I don’t know if I’ve ever seen a cute crab before, lucky guy that he didn’t go in the bucket! Those little orbs are lovely! And thank you guys for featuring my Drunken Rice! 🙂 Just use less Sambal! 🙂

Everyone have a happy and safe weekend~

Sunset Beach sounds perfect, especially if the weather is as amazing as it is here in Manchester today. Enjoy your weekend:)

  7. Lily says:

Sunset Beach sound like so much fun. My boys would love it because they’re all into collecting rocks right now and those stones look gorgeous!

    • Angie says:

Oh then they would LOVE this beach! It’s not hard at all to find nice looking rocks there. Did I tell you they’re actually quartz? Yes, the semi precious stone. Some people make jewelry out of them. After polishing in a tumbler ?

  8. I so wish we were close to a beach. It would require a plane trip unfortunately. Enjoy your family, Memorial Day and FF!

    • Angie says:

Aaw…the price to pay for living in the Midwest. I used to live in Kansas so I know! But there are lakes, and they’re almost as fun ? Have a great Memorial Day weekend!

  9. Lynda Hardy says:

We just got back a couple weeks ago from a weekend beach trip – I love it just before the season’s started in earnest! Thanks so much for hosting – have a great weekend!

    • Angie says:

Me, too. I hate it when it gets too crowded. But I also thought it was freaky when we were the only people on the beach; happened twice (Outer Banks and Ke’e beach). We didn’t stay long ? Have a wonderful weekend!
