It was a great idea from Tracy to suggest a vegan/vegetarian Pinterest board. Awesome that you did it Angie. It’s nice to have our favorite vegetarian/vegan recipes in one place. Have a fun trip Angie! Happy weekend!

    • Angie says:

Thanks, Su! Btw, I did send you an invite for the board when I started it. Check your Pinterest account and if you feel like joining, you can accept.

  2. Jhuls says:

I hope I could go on a mini vacation, too. No TV, away from all technologies – but phone is an exception. 😀 I love Tracey’s idea about the Pinterest board.

Anyway, enjoy with the mini vacay, Angie. And thanks for having us. 🙂

  3. Loretta says:

Thanks for the featuring my Pear Clafouti my lovelies, you’ve made my day! Thanks for your kind words Mollie. I’ll have to get my act together on this Pinterest Board, I have an account, but can’t seem to manage it. Great idea on the vegan/vegetarian board. Relax Angie and enjoy your trip wherever you may be driven to……Happy FF # 71 ladies and gents! 🙂

    • Angie says:

You’re welcome, Loretta! Such a great idea using pears for the clafouti. What’s your Pinterest username? I’ll try sending you the invite, though I think we have to be following each other first.

      • Loretta says:

Angie, my pinterest name is Loretta#00 – it’s been a while since I’ve used it. In fact I don’t even know how to post my blog on there ha ha! So send away, and I’ll give it a whirl.

        • Angie says:

I couldn’t find you! There’s a Loretta Obuchowski using that username, but I didn’t think that’s you?? Why don’t you start following me so it would be easier for me to send you the invite. It’s easy to follow, just get on my Pinterest board and click the red “follow” button.

  4. tentimestea says:

Yay! I’m so excited to cohost! There’s already so many lovely entries 🙂
I think it’s about time I started easing into summer break as well…have a lovely vacation!

    • Angie says:

Thanks for co-hosting, Laurie! I hope you’re having fun! I’m trying to relax a little before total relaxation starts, haha… I’m training myself! 😀

      • tentimestea says:

Oh my, doesn’t a bit of training go into everything! I should adopt this philosophy for cake eating! 🙂 While it’s a bit of work, I’m also having plenty of fun as well!! Cohosting has made me realize how many other FF bloggers there are that I’ve somehow never visited, and I’ve also come across so many inspiring posts and recipes that I would have missed otherwise!

  5. Lauzan says:

I love Tracy’s idea!! Thanks Angie! Happy Fiesta Friday! 🙂

    • Angie says:

I’m in a rush this morning but as soon as I’m able, I’ll send you an invite to join the board. If you’d like to, of course! 🙂

  6. hah awe now i feel bad you weren’t there, but heck your not in the UK! Next time OK, you gotta be there. Marita hasn’t joined FF yet, but after the meet-up I am sure she will be here soon enough. The food was amazing as was the company, we had three courses with tasters inbetween and wasnt like most teas where you are inundated with cream and pastry, there were lovely savoury treats and very unusual sweet treats too! xx

  7. Oooh thank you for the feature! Now I wish I had one of those margaritas to celebrate!
I’m very, very late with my Fiesta Friday post this week – I haven’t even edited the photos for it yet! Oops! But I’m determined to get it posted by the end of the day so watch this space – in the mean time I did bring a little mini dessert I posted earlier in the week 😉

Have a great mini vacation Angie!

    • Angie says:

Those margaritas are making everyone thirsty, Michelle! And if they have margaritas at breakfast, I would order one, lol. My husband would probably raise his eyebrows, but hey…when you’re thirsty, you’re thirsty. And when you’re thirsty, you only want margaritas 😀

  8. A Fiesta Friday Meet-up?!? How COOL! Any Portland, OR FF party go-ers want to meet-up in Portland!? Ahh I love this!!!

  9. I need that margarita ASAP 😉 Have a great pre-break break! Happy Fiesta Friday!!

  10. Sue says:

too kind, too kind! thank you and i hope you enjoyed your mash up experience if you decided to make them. I absolutely love this shot of Justine and ladies . . . . we absolutely need to arrange a FF Retreat or a couple of them across the globe.

    • Angie says:

You’re a master at mashing up recipes, Sue! I thought the pickled celery was also a great idea! I’ll give that a try definitely. FF Retreat sounds like a fun idea! 😀

  11. Ginger says:

Wow – how wonderful to find myself AND my cake on the post! That’s what I call a reason to celebrate! Thank you so much everyone, it’s such an honour – I’ll be bringing you a couple of glasses of prosecco this time, to celebrate 😉

  12. Aweosme entries and good to see everybody back!! I have been absent from FF for a while now… Might join in this week with a traditonal summer drink from India.

  13. Margherita says:

I always feel behind but maybe this week I’m in perfect timing bringing a vegan cake to your party! Have a good vacation, even if is short, it is always a break from the routine!

  14. Hi Angie,
    Thanks for hosting the party.
I am celebrating my First Blog Anniversary-http://herbsspicesandtradition.blogspot.ca/2015/05/my-first-blog-anniversary-event.html
There is a event and a give away. Please join, it is open for everybody.

  15. Happy FF, Angie! I have posts waiting to bring to the party but photos on an impaired computer…. :/ SO aggravating!!! Hopefully I’ll be back in action soon. Need to get motivated on the Pinterest too- great idea on your new board!

    • Angie says:

That is SO aggravating!! I hope you can get it fixed soon! We’ll wait patiently. I’ll be sending you an invite to join the board as soon as I find you and we start following each other. Pinterest rule, I’m afraid 🙂

  16. Hey Angie,

i would love to join the pinterest board! Could you please add me to it? 🙂 My pinterest username is :ranjanasandeep. Also, I am new to this website, and can’t figure out where to ‘join’ the Fiesta Friday? Could you please help me out?

    Thanks!
    Ranjana

    • Angie says:

      Hi Ranjana,
Sure I’ll send you the invite to join the Pinterest board. To join Fiesta Friday, just go to the end of the post. Under all the links, there’s a small blue “Add your link” button. Just click that and it will give you easy directions on how to add your post. Let me know if you need more help.

  17. Sonal Kalra says:

Angie! Great features as always! sorry been playing hide & seek. Heading to Delhi, India, day after. last minute plans. Will be joining from that part of the world! Till then, have a super week, Angie 😀 xxx

    • Angie says:

Ooh, how exciting!! Never been to India myself, but I’ve heard so much about it. I’ve concluded it’s a magical place that one day I would love to visit! Keep us posted! XOXO
